1. EVERYONE SELLING (retail or wholesale, US citizen or not) is supposed to be registered with the state of Illinois as a seller, even if Expo is the only place/time they sell in Illinois and whether they sell as a business or as individuals.

4. Sales tax should be collected on all retail sales at Expo and sent to the state.
5. To register, you will need the county (McDonough) and the address for Expo (1 University Circle, Macomb, IL 61455). For a phone number, the form will accept your own phone number.
6. It takes 15 - 30 minutes to register as an individual.
7. If you register as a business, have your federal ID handy, if you have one.
8. If you register, you may have to return a monthly report of your sales tax, even if it is 0.
9. We don't know what the law is regarding paying taxes on earnings from Expo. If anyone knows, please let us know.
